The building was originally opened as a Draper but sadly burnt down in 1928. After the fire they rebuilt the double story building that still stands today and continued business until they sold it.

Following the Draper, Denise and Juan Guzan bought the business in 1995 and lived in the building alongside their family. They owned the business until 2022 when a local family took it over.

When the Walsh family took the business over they renovated the business the following year in 2023. As the building was listed as a historical site there were few changes they could make and it still resembles the original building from the days it was the town Draper.
